All three of the original Wind-Up films:

’Clay Pigeons’ (Candide’s first make of Chad’s Gap)

’Tee Time’

‘The Flying Circus’ (Rick Wroblewski with the first modern double cork, do not @me).

Follow those with ‘Teddy Bear Crisis’ to see the evolution of Kris Ostness’s film making.

’Royalty’ an early Eric Iberg film with a banger segment from Phil Larose.

’Idea’ by Eric Iberg and the crew that would become Nimbus Independent. Introduced a new more art/style focused era of pow riding.

’Session 1242’ by Poor Boyz. Probably the most important ski film of all time simply based on Pep’s part.

’War’ by Poor Boyz. Has footage from the most innovative Utah gap session with Andy Mahre’s zero spin over Pyramid Gap.

Also Anthony Boronowski’s under rated part that really introduced spinning both ways in the BC and natural terrain.

Any younger dudes should watch these to see where we came from. They will also make you appreciate the new stuff from Zootspace, The Bunch, Strictly even more because even though the styles have changed some, the ethos/vibe from the movies listed are definitely shared with these new crop of shreds.

Please please be joking. No MSP movie in the last decade it worth mentioning.

There is a part with JP Auclair. This part pretty much invented street skiing. Not saying that it is the best skiing ever or the best filming but it is iconic to the sport

The JP part was cool, but absolutely in no way did it invent street skiing. People have been in the streets for probably 15 years before that.

ON3P 5 is underrated imo. It has so many dope shots / editing, great music selection, and overall a good vibe. I like skiing/watching pow films as much as park though. I understand most ON3P fans prefer to watch park/urban.

Also Magma 1+2 are such dope films

Eat the guts - hgskis

Every stept movie (people like mutiny and ten and two but I also love to bump The Eighty Six)

Burn - 4bi9

Eye Trip and Refresh - Level 1

Less - Level 1 (gilla magnus is essential to see)

All the Faction movies (The collective and this is home)

All the Level 1 movies while you’re at it

Bermuda - Strictly

Finito, Love you Too - The Bunch (Their other stuff is wild and you should watch)

Zootspace (essential for this generation)

The Recruitment and Masquerade - Superproof (Maybe I’m weird nobody talks about those but I realllyyyy liked them)

Everyday is a Saturday (one of the most insane of its time)

the grand bizarre (another random shout people don’t really mention but Leigh powis has a fucking wild part)

Salute - Henrik Harlaut

The Wallisch Project

Good Company 1, 2, and Guest List

i probably missed some but this should keep you busy ;)

The ones I find I go back and watch over again are B&E’s The Education of Style. And although not a big MSP fan. I really like Yearbook. Also going way back, Greg Stump’s follow up to Blizzard….. I love License to Thrill. Peak Plake and Scot Schmidt shredding.

In Deep and Attack of La Nina were both great MSP movies from when they were the best around. All the BLDZ life movies are also must watches
