im wearing a helmet when i longboard now. jesus christ. me and my friend (frosted_flakes) were longboarding down a hill near his house, and we didnt have good communication during a race. he was on my right side, and tried to turn onto a street on my left. he hit me, we both flew off our boards and were running faster than we actually could, headed straight for a sidewalk. luckily i made it past the cement of the sidewalk and dove onto the grass, and he stopped himself somehow. we were both so so so surprised we didnt get seriously injured.
