When I do hw though, its metal all the way. My philosophy is that it makes time seem like its flyin by so it makes me work faster and concentrate as if I'm running out of time. Before ya know it, you're done and it took half as much time!!
 
Sublime, Dave Matthews, Phish, Grateful Dead, Smashing Pumpkins, Radiohead, Moe., some Jazz (Davis or Coltrain), Matishayu's dub stuff (Youth Dub), Joe Strummer, King Crimson, Clapton, Dylan, Ben Folds, some of Beck's stuff (Trapicalia, Cold Brains, Lazy Flies), and throw in some Reggae of your choosing and you should be good. Thats just the mellow stuff but thats what you wanted right?
