Music similar to this?

At around 0:10 seconds the song changes a little bit and i'm not sure what to call the genre that it sounds like. sort of techno, but not really. basically what i'm asking is do you guys know of any songs that are only that sort of style. i really like it. i've also heard similar to this on a ski edit and someone in the comment section said it was Garret Russel's workout music? if that rings a bell could you as well post that edit? Also, not to sound like a little kid, if any of you watch Adventure Time, (it's a cartoon show) a lot of their soundtracks sound similar to this as well. i wouldn't mind knowing where to find the soundtracks of that show.
 
For the soundtrack you might just wanna look that up on iTunes. To find music similar to the stuff you mentioned (because I don't know of any) use pandora and make a station based one of the artists you like.

oh i disn't even think of googling it for whatever reason. all i really need to know is what genre that is or songs similar or artists that make that style.
 
What hes trying to say is take the artists you like and add them as a station on pandora. It will bring up songs similar to whatever artist / somg you type in. Also you can use iheart radio but Pandora has more music.
 
See what you can find on 8tracks too - just search imagine dragons and then go from there, use similar tags to playlists you like, etc.

If you don't listen to passion pit, you would probably like them. Maybe.
 
to last two posts, yes passion pit is sick and i need to buy their albums... i just haven't gotten around to it.

to last post, that band isn't exactly what i was looking for, but it is pretty tight.
 
actually, i've been listening to them since i saw your post and it keeps getting better, possible new favourite band. haha
 
also since i'm from canada, pandora doesn't allow me to use the website for whatever reason. does anyone know of other websites that do the same thing?
 
8tracks is about a million times better than pandora. There's definitely some shitty playlists on 8tracks but if you dig around you find gold. Whereas with pandora you never get quite what you want.

thanks about 8tracks, i'll check it out. and i know, imagine dragons isn't what i'm looking for i'm looking for that sort of sound that played at the start of the song. i listen to all these bands that people are listing.
