I've checked Ares, Bearshare, WinMX, and none of them are Mac-compatible. Are there any?
 
limewireeee, and play it outta itunes, but if you can try and get bit torrents, but i haven't felt like trying, limewire is fine
 
and make sure you set the preferences in both itunes and limewire to directly transfer files into itunes after downloading, it will make your life much easier
 
Spyware isn't an issue with a mac. I have noticed however that the performance of my mac's is severly deteriorated by having limewire installed. It must run some hidden programs.
 
^^ open up a terminal and type in this command:

ps -A

this will list all running processes so you can see if it's killing ur box. running "top" will give you a helpful terminal based system monitor. Ctrl-C will get you out of top.
 
That makes sense. The thing about it is that my system is slowed even when I don't have limewire running or sharing anything. I've already gotten what I needed so I don't have the program on either of my computers anymore but I figured I'd give a heads up to anyone who was going to try using it.
