So what do you guys use for this? One of those small mp3 players, minidisc, plain old cd player?? I'm thinking about getting either a small mp3 or a md. Which one is more durable and which one will suit my snow needs better? Recommend a specific model cuz I know nothing about mp3 or md players.

i use a cd player cuz i cant afford an mp3 or minidisc player

i have a sony sport md player. you can run it over with a car and it still works. you can take music off the computer and the discs are a lot cheeper compare to a memory stick. it runs about $150

get a minidisc player they work really well. that, or get the burton AMP coat w/ the built-in iPod and the controls right on the arm, plus the giro helmet w/ the earphones

no matter what i find myself accidentaly somehow turning my cd player off in mid air so ive stoped listening on the hill

cd players skip like crazy. I use a tape player. cds also fog up in cold weather, and then it doesnt read.

i just use my g-bag and just take it off and leave it in the park cuz our park is like 3 jumps and three rails so its small

i got an mp3 player, it is pretty badass because it will never skip. plus it is only like an inch by like 1/4 inch and holds like 6 hours of music. i only shelled out like 100 dollars for it.

i hate posers. thanx to harvey and all who contribute to the site for makin it so kick ass. the world is my very own pot party.

huckster, which mp3 player is that?

I heard the big mp3 players that hold gigs r bad for on the slope because they had a harddrive on the inside and it breaks if you drop it or fall on it. Won't a md player break too?

its maker is yepp'

i just use a 45 sec anti skip CD player it works great it only skips when the batteries are really low, are mountain is small so i can get down to the park within 45 seconds easily and you can hardly notice it is on you, also i have a warranty if it breaks so im all set

I use a sony atrac mp3 cd player, you can fit like 250 songs on one regular cd, so its a real good thing. And to the kid who has his player come off mid air, do you have a hold button on your cd player? If you do switch it on, and it will lock the controls but still play your music.

I use a Panasonic CD player. It's skipped on me like ONCE. I got it beceause the anti-skip, small size, and mostly, the in-wire remote, that I put somewhere on the outside of my coat for easy access

the older model of MD does record in real time but the more recent ones are usually 32X. i still have an older one-mde33, come thing like that-, and it's okay. you can't go wrong either way, mp3/md.
