Music/Movie sharing software

I was wondering if anyone could suggest some good P2P software for Linux... The Kaaza Lite site is down, and I wasnt sure if they released for Linux... and I'm too lazy to figure out Wine (windows emulator)

Anyone got an idea?

have you heard anything about newsgroups?? my friends big with comp stuff and hes talkin about how he can get everything with them. i tried it once but i couldnt get anything... its kinda like irc being that you have to look around for what you want... sorry this didnt answer your question at all..

 
I know about newsgroups. I just don't like using them. IRC would work, but I hate it. I like being able to search compactly... LimeWire works, but I have to figure out how to use it... Does anyone know if Kaaza Lite was for linux?

dosnt regular kazaa do that shit...ive done music with them lately....i got it after audiogalzxy is down and winmx blows and is not idiot friendly

I've got Kazaa and it does music and movies. I haven't tried to downlaod any movies but it works fine for music.

jaydc7, yeah that's true...binary farming programs do that...the problem is that andy's on charter cable and cable internet companies are notorious for having shitty newsgroup servers so you need to spend 20 bucks or so on an nntp account too. irc is the only good place anymore unless you know what hotline or kdx are
