Music help

reason 4. check out my threadhttps://newschoolers.com/web/forums/readthread/thread_id/515737/

I just posted a beat that I made with it (its not great... but it'll give you an idea of what you can do after tinkering around with the software for a little while). if you download torrents you might be able to find a cracked version if you wanna do the illegal thing and not pay. although you should support the company that makes it... I realize its damn expensive

I highly recommend reason but some other options are fruity loops, cubase (which is a little more recording-oriented), and ableton. Once you make your decision read the manual (I know, its boring... but it really helps) and look up tutorials on youtube. Good luck!

Word. Logic Studio is another really good option too. You can get logic express also which has some nice stuff to play around with and is significantly cheaper than studio.
If you really want to make quality sounding music though, go with reason. That program can do incredible things if you know what you're doing. Be prepared to spend time working on just learning how to use it though - from what I've heard its fairly complex.

there is nothing better than ableton if your new and just want to start making music. its so easy to try different ideas and write stuff on the fly. once you figure out the few basic ideas, its super easy to get going and get into it. also, i dont think logic works on windows based machines which i would assume your HP is...

yeah I've heard ableton is pretty user-friendly so it might be a good idea for someone just starting out. but reason is without a doubt more powerful and versatile. and you're right-- logic is a mac program and doesn't run on pc's. if you really want to get into music production macs are where its @ though.
