torrents... or if you just want to get an album, type the name of the album in google and also type mediafire, or megaupload, or rapidshare, or any other similiar site to those and you can just download that album from one of those sites

basically you download a program that allows you to download parts of a particular file from multiple sources (other people). you also will be uploading that file at the same time to others. Seeds are complete files and seeders are people who are sharing or uploading. Leaching is downloading.
If you're on a college campus DON'T use torrents or other p2p programs. You will get caught.
 
Blogs - I go here first. The one I check out the most is Hypem (not really a blog per se) and I just discovered Pretty Much Amazing from a friend.
Torrents - If I want a whole album or can't find a certain song on blogs I'll use torrents. Get uTorrent and try hitting up Demonoid.
Frostwire - Last result, I've just gotten sketchy on these P2P programs over the years after hearing too many horror stories. They are probably the easiest and fastest to use though. Good for single songs and pr0n.
