Music coming from speakers, but I don't have anything playing on my computer

I keep hearing violin and classical music coming in very softly from my speakers when I don't have anything else playing on my computer. I remember when I was littler my grandpas computer would pick up radio waves and play stuff at night. Is this the same phenomenon?
 
I highly doubt that's the case. I don't know if it's possible or not...you might just have some spyware or a program running in the background with music.
 
do you have vista? If you do check that you didn't minimize windows media player, it hides in the task bar and still plays. Windows comes with a couple default songs, one of which is classical. Just a guess tho
 
Tons of speakers do that, as far as I know there isn't really anything you can do about that.

As for the radio stuff, ya I looked it up too. Seems kinda strange. Try moving your speakers around and changing the position of the wires that connect them.
 
I unplugged my speakers and moved the cords around and now it's gone. Its bothering more now that it is gone because it was very pleasant music.
 
not sure if its iphones or at&t but all speakers no matter what, if my phone is close to it like within 5 feet and updating it or just about to ring an annoying sound comes out of them....
 
most likely the radio, every time someone walks by my spanish teachers desk with their phone in their pockets her speakers go crazy
