MTV Star Collapses, Screams When Found Guilty In Sex Case

GOLDEN, Colo. -- [/b]Vincent Roy Margera, who plays the MTV character "Don Vito" on "Viva La Bam"

was found guilty Wednesday on two of three felony counts of sex assault

on a child and reacted violently when the verdict was announced.Witnesses

said Margera collapsed on the courtroom floor and started screaming

when the verdict was read in a Jefferson County courtroom.Witnesses

said he yelled, "I can't go to prison for the rest of my life. Just

kill me," as he thrashed about on the floor. "I didn't do anything."

was very close to rail at the front of courtroom," said Jefferson

County spokesman Pam Russell. "He was struggling -- fighting. "(The

deputies) were trying to talk him down. He was resistant."It took eight Jefferson County deputies to restrain him and he had to be carried out of court by them.Margera,

51, was accused of fondling three girls during a public appearance at

the Colorado Mills Mall skate park last year. He faced three felony

charges after several girls said he grabbed their breasts or buttocks.

He was found not guilty on one count.The two victims are 13 and 14."These

young victims did a great job in court. This is always difficult for

children victims. I really admire their courage. As for the one not

guilty verdict, the jury apparently didn’t believe we’d met our burden

in proving the count beyond a reasonable doubt," said District Attorney

Scott Storey.Margera will be sentenced on Dec. 20. He could be

sentenced to from two to six years in prison on each count. Margera

could also receive probation for a minimum of ten years, up to life.The guilty verdict means he must register as a sex offender in Colorado.During

the trial, two female police officers who arrested him said he called

them "psycho lesbian bitches." His lawyer said Margera thought the

arrest was a prank and he was activing in character.The prosecutor said Margera was so intoxicated during the Lakewood appearance that he "peed his pants."His

defense attorney, Pamela Mackey, has said Margera was in character

during the public appearance, playing the outrageous uncle on the show.According to Wikipedia,

"Viva La Bam" was a reality television series that starred his nephew,

professional skateboarder Bam Margera. The show was a spin-off from

MTV's "Jackass," in which Margera and most of the main cast had

appeared.He was commonly referred to as "Don Vito," in the show

because it referred to his near-unintelligible speech, reminiscent of

Don Vito Corleone of "The Godfather." Many times, subtitles had to be

used because Margera couldn't be understood. The show ran for five

seasons, according to MTV.com.As a result of his 2006 Colorado

arrest, the stunts involving Don Vito were removed from the theatrical

and DVD release of "Jackass Number Two."On the MTV.com Web site, Margera completed the sentence "Life with Bam is...." by adding "out of control."Margera's

defense attorney, Pamela Mackey, also represented NBA star Kobe Bryant

when he was accused of rape in Colorado. The charge was later dismissed.
 
These sexual assault cases are ridiculous. Its like a the Salem witchcraft childs. These girls cry out and everyone believes them and think the guy is a pedophile without fair evidence. I mean they are 13 and 14, they I could easily see them egging him on cuz ther prob a bunch of sluts. And 2 to 6 years is ridic and calling those girls heroic is bullshit
 
sluts, I saw a couple weeks ago these chicks sueing the Girls Gone WIld guy, saying they didn't give consent, later a tape emerged of them giving total consent. 
 
and i must say i disagree with you, sir. if grabbing an ass is a

crime, everyone i know should be on the sex offender list. these

people voluntarily put themselves in the same place at the same time

with the Jackass crowd and i'm certain they knew full and well what

that entailed- madness. that being said, what the fuck were they even

doing there? fawning over how hawt Bam is? it's fucking Jackass (or

Viva la Bam, whichever title you prefer... it's the same damn thing)-

offensive things happen and it's so secret. if you're going to be

offended by something as simple and mundane as an ass-grab (or even a

boob-grab... i'm sorry, if someone like that grabbed for my crotch or

something, i wouldn't just let them have a handful, but i wouldn't be

offended... i'd laugh), you don't belong in the same room as those

guys. those girls more or less went to a show where even the audience

plays a huge part and rarely in a "good" way, they HAD to have known

that beforehand, and yet this still happens.

think about it- Vito stands the chance of spending 18 years in prison because a couple girls didn't like being a part of the show they went to go be a part of. that's fucked up. they went there to experience the show, they got their experience, and now Vito's doing time.

one more thing, my gf just said that if Vito grabbed her tit, she'd have him sign it "Vito was here". she's not a slut, she has a sense of humor.

don vito is a scum fuck, it doesn't surprise me he is going to jail for this. a 51 year old doesn't grab a 13 year olds ass or tits no matter the circumstances. you can't justify that. obviously, if it was proved beyond a reasonable doubt in court it is true. how can you defend him? i am 20 and would never try to grab a 13 year old like that. i have a 15 year old sister and if someone did something like that to her you better believe i'll get a bat out and beat their ass back to last century.
 
I can just see it now...that mumbling glutton getting roughed up by a pair of cops in the court room. Hahaha, pure comedic gold.
 
why does everyone get in trouble in Colorado? Kobe Bryant a few years ago, now Don Vito! Wheres Michael Jackson at these days? everyone better keep a close eye out!
 
yah the colorado legal system is bullshit sometimes...i dont know anything about golden really, but boulder is total bullshit. ive never run into a more fucked up police department in my life. they spend almost all of their time busting kids for drinking and shit, then every time a major case comes along they COMPLETELY botch it. Obviously the JonBenet Ramsey case is the most famous incident they completely fucked up, but there have been a handful of high profile cases theyve completely blown. 

Oh yeah, and they start riots, which is solid police work. Ive been tear gassed by those assholes 4 times in 1 night before while i was just trying to get away from all the chaos (i wasnt personally rioting, just watching). that weekend my little brother, who was a junior in high school at the time, was visiting me at CU, and the cops shot him in the stomach with a 12 gauge beanbag stunner round...i had to drag him like 2 blocks before he totally regained consciousness, if i hadnt then the cops would have arrested him while he was incapacitated on the street for rioting even though he was just trying to run away. they were firing blind into the smoke and tear gas. 
 
Well, he was sexually deprived...its but natural that he went crazy. The guy disgustingly fat, he never had a girlfriend and im pretty sure whore would turn him down.

Its the girls fault, it should teach them not to put out all the time or else youll get hurt. Both parties are at fault.
