seriously^ it wouldnt work... first they'd have to learn to ski, then have to be able to hit jumps, and theres more, theres just too many aspects to skiing

I was thinking about someone doing that today.. but wouldn't it be weird having a whole camera crew, who probably can't ski at all, following you around on the hill. Sure they can use snowmobiles, but that's a hell of a lot of snowmobiles going up and down the mountain.

This is really coincidental as MTV was hosting auditions at my high school in suburban Pittsburgh and was going to have one student actually on the show. I tried out with that goal in mind even tho i wasnt exactly bad at the time(i could 7) but wasnt very like down with the basics. Unfortunately for me my school is really gay and they wanted like money or some bribe and MTV wouldn't budge in that area. As a result the whole thing fell thro. Luckily for me I got a shitload better and can like fakie 7 now, so I guess i didnt really need it.

'there carrer really went of when the were on the tv 'made'. if id had ansy thign to do wiht skiing it woudl be liek just luring how to ski and goign down a blue.. thats it. and lots of crying and eating oreos and snickers.

^ Yeah, but some people didn't have the chance to ski everyday or start skiing before they walked. If you look at a lot of the pros, in interviews and such, they ask how long they have been skiing. Most of the answers are, 'Since I can remember, Before I could walk, When I was two I started.'

I'm not saying ALL pros I'm just saying a good percentage started when they were really young. So now they are really good.

it would be tite, but only if you had a sick coach, you'd get hooked up with all that free stuff. i would tell them i don't have skis or ski clothes or anything, then they'd have to buy them for me, i'd do it.

I already posted somethin like this before the thread was 'exposure contest' like a week ago, I just didnt involved mtv wit it cuz i think that would be bad for skiing. But if they did it like through a ski company or a ski sponser i would be for it. Like my post before like get to live the life of skier for a 1 year and see if you can become one in the end and live up to it.
