MTV icon - Metallica

So I saw a rerun of MTV's Icon with Metallica last night. I've always liked thier music that I hear, but I'm not an avid fan. I was really impressed with the show, I didn't know much about them, but wow. I think I'm going to have to go download more of their music now.

Anybody else have any Metallica opinions?

Metallica never sold out. You can't call it selling out until you make music that you don't like only because the people want to hear it that is selling out.

dude i saw that too and i saw the avril lapoo proformance and i thought it was awsome!! i think that all of avrils music but when she proformed fuel i thought it was awesome!!

are you kidding? avril sucked. I mean her band was good but she just cant sing that stuff. And korn did alright even tho they did a really dumbed down version of one. And i was a little dissapointed that no one even attempted one of hammetts solos.

Yeah i'm wondering how Metallica has sold out...is it because they make music videos or is it because they play at large venues so more than 2% of their fans can see them live...but good job to MTV. it was well done

no im sorry limp bizkit was truly awful. With fred durst doin the funky chicken dance. And the new guitarist is pretty bad. he just played some power chords. For the solo the dj scrathed somethin. that is petty pathetic.

Your opinion that you have a right too. I am glad to hear that you don't just hate them because you think they sold out. anyone who doesn't like a band because they have popular music is stupid.
