MTS Speakers - Guy Selling Shit Out of a Van Story

So a couple weeks ago my buddy tells me some guy in a van pulled up beside him in a parking lot and made up a story about gettign free speakers from his boss and how their like $1 300 per tower. (Their like home theature speakers). Says he will install them and everything.

A few weeks later the SAME thing happens to me except like an hour away from where I live and the guy says the EXACT same stuff word for word.

Anyone else been stopped and asked to by these speakers? Its clearly a massive pyramid scheme but look what I found. Some people actually bought this shit!

actually alot of your smaller stero stores will pull that stuff, pull up in a van and act like its hot equipment giving you a great deal, when they are just trying to sell stock. it used to go on at colledge all the time.
 
some guy from the company posted in that thread and he sounded pretty legit. either way i wouldnt try something like that anyways
 
yeah my friend bought some, i dont care if it was really a scam or not, but they are sick speakers. from what ive heard come out of them theyre pretty sick. but yeah, says they retail for 3000 on the box and he bought them for 400 i think
 
i hate when people try to sell me shit in parking lots. this onetime i was at wendys and this guy tried to sell me some crack rock and i was just not havin it, this ever happen to you guys?
