Mtb question

DH/freeride bike- better for steeps/technical/fast

freeride- a little better for jumps/ladders, but can still do the technical stuff

yah...go to a bike shop...for real...if you have to ask questions like that you need more than a ski website to help you...go to your bike shop and chat it up

If I were you, I would stay far far away from the second bike you posted. The fork it comes with is absolute shit. There have been instances where the seals would blow with the bike just sitting in the shop. Even riding non-technical terrain on that fork isnt advisable. They were on clearance for about $99 by the end of the year, kinda shows how well they were accepted. If you're on a budget, go for a hardtail. You can get a better parts spec, and you build skill faster that way.

^if its the kingpin, yah crapola...i had a sherman which is the pimp dual crown made by manitou and it was shitttttt...broke the lowers and completely blew out the spv side..doooo not get the aniki..save your money and buy something like the Giant AC...sick freeride bike and decently priced same with the specialized SX trail
