Mtb Helmet?

So I have a full face helmet for DH riding, but courious how gay would it be to ride on the street with it? I hate most street helmets, they look like x-county helmets and I still do drops & stupid shit so it would be nice to cover my lid. let me know your opinions..

if you don't wanna get ur head fucked up...wear it. but if you just wanna look cool and not 'gay' then don't wear it.or just get another helmet

if u have the confidence to pull it off, im sure it would be alright but lets think of some things

1. ur going to be made fun of for sure,

2. ur not going to be travelling that fast to need the helmet anyways

3. there hot ass hell and not comfrtable unless ur going down a hill

full face on street is definetly homo sexual, but so is riding street on a mtn bike. get a bmx for street. and wear a bmx half cut like a pro-tec for street

 
Ya dude, don't wear a full face. You'll look like a total gomer. Skate lids are like $30, and they all look the same. You don't really wanna be baking your melon in a 2 lb piece of foam and plastic while riding around town, do you? Save the full face for ski resorts and shuttle runs.

i totally agree that a full fac will be hotter than shit...and sure, you don't want to look like a douche...but who the fuck cares what you look like......go to pinkbike and search for threads about helmets, full face vs. just a cap, and injuries...check some of the pics out...seeing guys lying in the hospital with a fucked up face and a ruined head (which def keeps them out of season in the winter) you might reconsider wearing an open faced skate helmet for a little more comfort in the heat...i understand that injuries are part of it all but i know that avoiding a long stay in a hospital bed is always something i would lean towards rather than risk a little more and try to fit in......hot full face helmet? or potential for hospital bills in the many thousands. save face...literally.
