Does anyone here ski there?

If so, is it good? I was reading on there site that they get the highest snowfall in North America, is that true? Is there park any good?

no i'm pretty sure Mt. baker gets the most snowfall on average each year. I could be wrong but thats what I've been told

I rode there like 3 years ago. I wouldnt be suprised if they got the most snowfall, for the 8 days i was there we could only ski for like two hours a day because once it got to like 12:30 1:00 it started to snow white out conditions, because of its location on vancover island it has a whole shit load of percipitation nd get lots of snow. Its good if its soft fluffy snow but there is is wet heavy slow snow.

I've riden there.. and climbed the mountain a lot. no, it doens't get the mostr snowfall... just the highest winds... IN THE WORLD. it's tough skiing in the winter, so many avalanches, and other dangers, but in the spring and summer... you can't beat it.

i was there in summer in july still snow there. not much but if i lived there i would have a rail or something. but yeah it was pretty cool in summer article in skier mag about it by mike douglas he skied there growing up. he says bad pipe ok park.

um... Mt Washington is in New Hampshire by the Maine coast, they dont have a park or a pipe, the whole mountain is backcountry conditions. Extremely dangerous, even by west coast standards.

there are 2 mt washingtons. one is on east coast. other is on the west coast vancouver island like halfway up the island. pretty sweet place too lots o snow

Andy, how the fuck is Mt. Washington (NH) remotely near the fucking coast? Mount Washington NH is a very dangerous place to be anytime before the last weekend of March. And even then it's extremely dangerous.

well are you planning like a trip out there or something becuase then you might want to try for a different place. like the hill seems cool and all. but if skiing isnt the only thing you want to do its pretty sweet becuase it doest snow near the coast which isnt far away so i heard you can golf year round pretty much and fishing. like massive salmon and shit we saw this guy pull out a fish that was giant. so i dont know vancouver island is a really coo place

Well I was thinking about going there because I have heard the place is pretty good from a friend that lives in Victoria.

If I did go out there, I would wanna ski a lot of the time, and maybe try surfing to.. My friend tells me that the surf is at its best in the winter time!

So I guess I won't be going out there next year.. where should I go?

the Mt. Washington on Vancouver Island is supposed to be good. i wanna ski there, but if im gonna spend that time driving 5 mins to the ferry taking the 2 hour ferry ride, and then the 25 min drive to the mountain, i might as well go to whistler.
