make sure you know what your doing. The weather there is crazzzy. its early so avy danger is low. But check the forecasts before u go. http://www.tuckerman.org/ this site has the avalanche report updates. Don't think because the mountain is on the east coast its a joke because it farrr from a joke.
avalaunches?? This sounds damn near impossible with only like a 30cm base and below treeline, flatter mouintain. even if there was an avy, probobly wouldntb e enoug snow to bury me
what Mt Washington r u talking about. R u talking about tucks? cuz it sure doesent sound like it. Not flat and there are no trees. Not sure how much snow is up there though.
well if your blow treeline your fine but its more an issue now if your in the bowls there's always a chance a 30cm base can get blown into the bowl and become a wind loaded slab. A small slide could fuck you up in steep terrain not by burying you but by pushing you into exposures. especially now theirs tons of rocks around.
If this is Mt. Washington in Newhampshire I live in Maine and have hiked it many times. The thing about hiking this time is avalanches. Plus it is a big hike into the bowl which the trail will probably be shit. So if you are gunna do it bring clampons and an ice tool.
