Skiers slopestyle is Feb.5 , the day after young guns, looks like were gonan have sum sick feature, got sum huge jumps planned like making a channel gap on our step up and also puttin sum boxes in between, plus thinking bout makin the 90 foot shocker jump

last time i went to a slopestyle at mt washington i won it with a 360...only cause they were so affraid to hit the 60ft table...that was 1999 though...
 
ya all whistler guys took it 2 years ago when we had it, maggy got frist and jordan steivpoter and chris soreintan i think thats how u spell em, ya i think they either tied for second or it was second third, sumtin like that

Unless it's pounding snow somewhere that day.. and then I think we should just go whereever that is and shoot.
 
I might make an appearance in that comp this year, probably get my ass kicked but it would be good to represent the locals
 
ya there up and comming tallent happenin, used to be no skiers a while back, now everyones progressin
 
but i will keep ya guys posted ont he condition of the park, beaucse it is 2 weeks away and the shape of pakr is in serious construction
 
naa we will have the flat down, and the two boxes will be set up as a up flat, and the dfd will prob be set up and maybe etiher the battleship or the rainbow if were lucky
 
rigth now the condtion is, first small jump, second big jump, third is a pretty long step up that is immpossible to clear, yesterday i tucked from the very top of the mountain down to the step up and still cased, and then there is a last jump which is pretty massive, nice and kicky too
 
Washingtons got a big snow box now in place of mini, step up step down, not super big but definetly calling for some steezy moves, and the jumps are prety large too. ^hey liberty, pretty sure you saw my collison today, me and that other dude hit hard.
 
ya dude i saw taht shit, ahah that kid u hit is the fuckin biggest fag haha i was ridin wit trent and he was followin us round, today fuckin sucked, jumps were soo slow, i tucked from the top of the blue down to raw meat and still cassed it, fuckin sooo gay, but i did land sum 270's off the box and slid that hole rainbow tree at the end of the park!
 
if anyone from whistler/vancouver area has a car and wants gas pitch i'd be intrested in going, or renting a car,...

the day after young gun eh? We plan on still being in the area. Where is this mount Washington place and how much is the entry fee?
 
k heres the hype, i will give updates on the course daily, um its lookin sick right now, 7 jumps and 2 rails set up wit 3 more comming, um to get to mt wash, after mount seymour u drive for bout 25-30 mins to horshoebay ferry terminal, then u tkae the ferry to the island which is bout 2 hours then form the ferry terminal it is bout one hour drive to the hill, check out the site www.mtwashington.ca, apparently most snow in canada right now too, um well the parks lookin sick, big hits everywehre, and were hopping for more, its gonan be one sick comp, its a $20 entry fee, wit $10 deposit on jersey, the winner usually wins skis and thres lots of other prizes, its just an all around good environment
 
also im gonna be filming this weekend so maybe i can post sum clips of the park, right now it goes.... first jump on left or flat down rail on right, then next up is left side small jump, middle big jump and right side is snow box (step up to box, step down after box) then after tht to ur left is the step up or right is hip, then after that is right side smaller kickier jump , or u can gather speed and hit more down more to the left last jump which is pretty big right now, and thne after that is a box, um there plannin on also getting a channel gap sumwhere and inbetween having the rainbow rail, down-flat-down rail and then battleship rail, its gonan be sick, pretty huge jumps right now too
 
The ferry terminal is really, really easy to find. Instead of turning off at exit 1 to whistler you just go down to the toll booth things. But yeah it's on Van Isle.
 
I won a pair of Rossignol ladies Skis when I won it back in 2001...that was the big air actually...you had to announce the tricks you were doing. it was cute.
 
for those that don't know, you will have a hard time getting there before registration closes if you plan on taking the ferry that morning. If you are going over from vancouver, plan on going the night before.

Also, if you are coming from anywhere besides courtneay, don't expect the judges to be kind to you. The competitions at mt. washington are notorious for being extremely biased towards local kids. (i.e. a couple years ago a straight air from a local kid beat a switch 900 from whistler).

Hopefully this has changed, but the mountain's management hasn't, so dont get your hopes up.

wat r u talkin bout dude, the last slopestyle we had, whislter peeps took first second and third, 1st was i think his name was maggy and second was jordan steivpotter and third was chris soreinstan all whistler riders, how could u say the judges r favoruin locals when none of them even can tell whose from wat mountain
 
I said a couple of years ago, I belive it was 2003? or 2004. The judges knew where everone was from because it was written right beside their name. The judges were also a mix of snowboarders and ski instructors, none of whom knew shit about slopestyle skiing. But like I said, I hope things have changed because they really needed to.
 
ya they prob did, im not sure whos judging this year, parks pretty sick but fuck hmm dont know if its gonan be the sickest comp or wat, i havent ridden much park all year c uase the parks always closed lately cause of all the fuckin snow we've been gettin.
 
looks like the parks gonan be sick cause they closed it today to get it ready for the comp, they were prob settin up the down flat down rail and the rainbow rail, comps on sun, gonan be pretty sick, if u cant make it come out to skier cross next weekend
 
dont wanna bash the locals but if whistler peeps show up we are probably gonna get our asses kicked, gonna be a good time anyway though
 
comp got postponed until march , 25, god out park has sum mutha fuckan huge jumps now, good lord i bet a couple of our jumps r bigger then whistler hits
