Mt. Wash vs Seymour

Getting a seasons pass to one of the two, pros and cons-

Mt. Wash pros:

-I'll go every chance I get

-Will always have a way to get there and back

-No dealing with ferries to get to the mainland

Mt. Wash cons:

-Far as fuck, basically 3hours one way, 6hours on the road total

-No place to stay, if I go up on Friday theres little to no chance of staying the night/weekend (I'm a student and not going to pay for a place)

-Park is pretty weak

-The pass costs double what a Seymour pass costs (from what I hear)

Seymour pros:

-Cheaper pass

-Good park

-Possible place to stay (see cons)

Seymour cons:

-Relying on transportation via roommate

-Can't just decide to go on a whim

-Going means staying the night, which is great, but I'd have to crash at my roommate's parent's place, I can't just stay over willy-nilly like somekind of leeching jackass

Over all transportation-wise I'd probably spend about the same amount for getting to Seymour or getting to Mt. Wash.

Tha fuck do I do, I'll probably end up getting a Wash pass but some opinions would be awesome.

Didn't think of that...fml. But, thinking about it, regionals have Vancouver but no Vancouver Island and what would really help decide is a combo regional of the two. I feel like Vancouver kids would just say "wtf is Mt. Wash, get a Seymour pass fool, or fuck it get Whis" and have a bias

I imagine they would instead tell you to pass at Wash rather than having to take a ferry to the mainland every time you wanted to ski which is annoying, ridiculous expensive and ends up taking almost as much total travel time. But we'll see since I'm a move your thread thurr now.

I haven't been wash in years, but it is MUCH bigger than seymour. Other than rails seymour really isn't that great. If you're jumping on a ferry you might as well go to whis...

he's asking the difference between mt.wash and seymour, I'm gonna take a wild guess and say he has a car.

If you're in Victoria Seymour is still going to be a 3 hour trek even by car. $15 each way per person and like 60 for a vehicle. I'd say get Wash
