mt southington in southington CT, exit 28 off 84

has a 25' and a 30' in a row right next to the lift. instead of riding the 15 minute slow ass lift to the top, you can jump off the lift, bout 10 feet, right to the run in.

they don't really have any other features.

sick shit

Its fun to jump off the lift until ski patrol sees you, flips a shit and nearly bans you from the mountain forever. Happened to some people I know at Southington. EPIC.

that shit is hilarious

ski patrol tried to grill me for not displaying my lift ticket in my pocket.

it bothers me that southington charges 10 dollars for a park pass when there park does not deserve it at all...but i guess thats where jumping off the lift comes in, haha

yeah brohams i hear you, i hate when you have to get a park pass for any mountain, especially seeing how my 10 dollars goes to those dirtbags standing outside the gate, smokin cigz and wearing hipster shit, meanwhile the jumps are rutted and the rails have no lip.

i didn't buy one, so i just flashed my driver's license last time, worked fine

That is because the whole park crew is borders, so they set it up for borders. I'm glad they charge for park passes, keeps some of the gapers out and the ones that do get in, we get their money that goes towards the park. Their park isn't that bad, its CT.

can anyone list the features they have, if its a better setup than blandord, then i'll definately check it out

16 foot flat box

Hitching Post

Cannon Tank

20 ft. Down Rail

The Hip

20 ft. Jump

(2) 30 ft. Jumps

Tire Bonk

says there site. i would really like to see pictures of there jumps because i highly doubt they have a 20 and 2 30 foot jumps. sounds like there rails blow though. if your lookin for a bunch of nice rails and a halfway decent jump check out ski sundown

thts the real old setup. its in order:
ima guess a 14 foot urban single pipe flat rail
Hitching post
10 foot gap step up, they made it today and said they were dont yet so im gona guess cannon corrugated pipe,
Urban 16 foot flat bar
Flat Down rail
First jump about a 25second about a 15-20 depending on the day
its ok for ct, its an all border park crew on a disfunctional mountian. the snow making crew wont let park crew blow snow when needed, they set up way too much stuff urban, and theres 390000 little kids who roll over the sides to rails and case jumps making a hole in the landing. the first day the park was up this year, there was a his and hers jump. his:50 hers:30. I got wrecked on the hers spinning and got a concussion. whats mts's response? make it smaller. now the hers has no gap and the his is a 25. woo... it has its good and bad days. after a night of blowing and grooming and new features, its the best park in ct by far.
