I usually ski at Wachusett, but i'm getting kind of sick of it. Anyways i have to drive almost an hour to get there. Is mt. snow very far from wachusett. and how is the park??? rails? backcountry??? just try to tell me what the park looks like

both of their parks are sick and always groomed real nice... the inferno park is HUGE... it had an 80 footer earlier in the season, don't know what its down to now... the Un Blanco Gulch park is usually where i am when i go to snow. its always tight... good rails too... zero backcountry

mt snow has a great park. actually it has two. en blanco and inferno, and then it has a superpipe and yes, there is an 80-footer, which i've never tried. the rails are good, but last time i checked they closed the rollercoaster. yeah, mt snow is good, but no back country to speak of.

i was up there three weeks ago about and the rollercoaster was open...the 80 footer was balls too...i landed 5 feet short and ate shit hard, but it was 'powder' so it was all good...it'll probably take you between an hour and 45 minutes and two hours 15 minutes depending on how fast you drive...just go west on rt 2 from wachusett and then go north on 91 to like the 3rd exit in vt i think its route 9 and its like 25-30 minutes from there

the challenge is to be yourself in a world that is trying to make you like everyone else

for all of you that say mt snow has no back countryyou are semie right mt snow has many tree areas that are lift ascessed i was there yerterday in knee deep pow. The best ones are on the north face and the biggest is the trials. IF your looking for some steep shit go to the trees next to ripcord i forgot the name plunge or plummet but beware the are steep as hell the parks are awalys in good condition. the trees on carintha are over skies. The trees on sunbrook usualy you can find powder in them they also have some mini shoots if you go the the left side.

line1260 appears to just have put periods in there randomly, calling them sentences. hah.

mountsnow, well, i LOVED it, but i'm comparing it to my ohio sking.

the park was the best one i rode while i as in VT over new year's

Brody

i wont drop out of high school for skiing, mom

that whole hill is to damn flat and over run with idiots. if you're skiing any where but the two parks you;re board out of your head. what, 4 trails on the north face for anything with a pitch to it. everything else is joey heaven. I like their rails and tables, but im not the hugest fan of flat, ollie style, on ramps to things like that down kink or rollar coaster.

mt snow is a hill..

jumps are nice in the park but layout gets boring, hasnt changed in years. they dont set up the rails to well, they just arent done right

F3P.

fluff, i gotta agree... outside of the park and the Skier-X course (when its groomed) i'm pretty bored... thats why Killington still remains the king of mtns on the EC

im not really a fan of k town either. i;ve been there probably 20 times over the last few years and ive never been impresseed. let alone the fact that i worked with them on an event, and they werent hospitible to my brining 75 people to the hill. oh well.

i think if i had to choose my final east coast resting place it wouldbe jay peak. forget the fact that they have the best terrain hands down on the east. they;ve really stepped it up for terrain features this season. making it the best ski place ever. plus, i really respect a mountain that knows they cant maintain a half pipe and decides to bag it. i hate these places like stowe who waste 3/4 of a million dollars for a snow taco. so lame.

I broke my skis on the 80fter

not really a total newbie, but i lost all my posts, and ya, I left newschoolers for a while

dam you all. I cant wait to ride mt snow next year every weekendd ahhhhhhhhh im going nuts just thinkin about it!

i was up there this season, fun park. I spent all day in there, no real backcountry, rails are alright, little small in one of the parks, but a great place to learn shit or nail bigger stuff

this year is the year everyone can drive i know. im hopein to make it up there, if not, i settle for sundown which is progressing nicely
