Mt Snow Rebuilding Un Blanco?

just the pipe, hopefully the bigger jumps are good, and "the samurai" whatever the fuck that is, is a decent down rail
 
ok i was up there today and heres the deal: there is MASSIVE amounts of snow being made and already made on the entire trail that was closed. Like it almost seems like they are making the trail from the ground up with an solid existing snow base. The middle jump thats the biggest is being converted into 3 lips. I got an approx length of 50ft being the biggest. The hip thats near the dog house is going be around 60-70ft ( this is straight from the park crew ). They were pullin out the wall ride so look for that as well and they put in a lil single barrel gap to rainbow rail it looks like but its really short. The jib tap thing that u jump over is moved to after the trap box. The trap box isnt moving and niether is the flat box after it. The down box up top looks like its stayin there as well. I also saw them pull out a really long ass flat rail it seemed. Overall, the trail is FUCKIN loaded with snow and the crew seemed like it was gonna be some ridiculous big shit so keep your fingers crossed. With this new snowmaking change I def think the park will run til closing date in full setup which is rumored at April 9th.
 
no way that hip is gunna be 60/70. i fucking love that hip/table. and the 3 takeoff parts should be sick, what length is the right(biggest) one at? or was at? 45 feet? i loved to spin off that kicker
 
^ thats what i was told from the park crew at 430pm today. I doubt its true you know how mt snow inflates shit. But at least they are trying. It looked A LOT bigger then before thoughand theres a lot of snow above it.
 
how about the jump right at the end? staying the same, or getting bigger? i liked the size of that juump
 
60 to 70 is stupid for the amount of speed you can get there, you would have to start up near the first jump just to clear it
 
all this rebuilding is great, but the fact is that they need to put it back to corinthia to keep all the little kids out cause that is rediculous this year, as well as the old ass people just cruising down, if ur with ur kid n he's doin park n u stay out of the way then thats fine, but if ur just some old guy either on ur own or in a group in there for no reason but a cruise, then stay the fuck out, and again those little kids(the ones that blow, mt snow freestyle team with kids that are like 10 pulling 5's n shit are nasty) stay out unless you are decent. they need a way to fix it cause its actaully rediculous this year. if they did that then the park would last an extra 3 weeks atleast.
 
Sounds good to me. I'm going up tomorrow. Should be fun. Anyone know how big the bigger jump of the two that were next to each other? It seemed like a pretty decent sized jump, and was good to spin off of. Anyone know?
 
The middle jump sucks so much you gotta go so fast into it and if you clear then knuckle then your prolly gonna over shoot the whole entire landing. Mount Snow blows they need be go back 4 years ago when they were the best park in the east with a legit 70fter and if they dont set up the dub kink or new flat down and/or the long down rail they have they should just kill themselfs.
 
if they are making their jumps that big they would need some kind of spaceage manmade snow that is twice as fast as normal snow because to clear that stupid ass hip/table you need to start two hits up anyway and it was only like 35 feet. we'll see though, glad they are changing it up and making more of a base

its not a bad jump but if u make it into like a 50fter it would be retarded...ud hafta opt outa everything drop so high up...u already gotta fly at it to do n e thing, mount snow is the biggest fucking let down- no doubt my $ is goin somewhere else next yr..

i dont give them any credit. maybe if they didnt spend all their money on advertisments to claim how amazing their park is they would have actually had money to make a good park and make snow on the trail. so its just as much their fault as it is the weathers.
 
they should call it un deathtrap. I hate to say it but having 100s of people skiing down a trail with big jumps is asking for people to get injured.
 
im proud to say i hit that jump. Scariest/sweetest moment of my life. I remember going off the lip and the landing was soooooooooooo far away. I almost ate it big time too because you had to go so fast you got knocked off balance real easy
 
un blanco is fun the first few runs thru, then it just gets annoying, its like dodge the little kids and old people to hit the crappy jump game
 
last week when i was there the "name this park" wasnt up....neone kno if it is now? or is it will be at all this season?
 
Did anyone hit the new park today? I have a choice between this and killy tomorrow and wanted to know if it was any good.
 
yea the bottom half was not great today top looked like it would need a lot more work to get better, but they do have a few fun rails like a new flat rail, roller coaster, single barrel, and shit. and the last jump is better than it used to be, more pop. the big jump is stupid, speed sucks. overall though if they finish the whole thing by tomorrow it might suck less than before...
 
I just came back from the park and it's pretty dumb. Some of the jumps that they have are just retarted and way too long for where they are. It's impossible to get speed for a couple of them. The only good jump is the last one IMO. The middle set of jumps that are next to each other are ok at best, I only started hitting the bigger one by the end of the day because the smaller one was forming a slushy spot right in front of it which slows you down a lot. I'd rate it a C- at best.
