Mt Snow Opening Date???

^whether its open during the week will just depend on how much snow they have after the weekend. if as many people show up as last and it gets trashed again, i wouldnt think so with the weather. i guess time will only tell
 
yep, i hate to be a debbie downer but it looks awful next week. gonne be high 50s all over vermont, lows only gettin down to 35. i say after tuesday snow, killy, and sunday river will be closed.
 
fuckin tits. here goes another week down the drain, pretty much fifties and a bunch of rainy days all week....looks like it's gonna get pushed to HOPEFULLY nov. 22nd..... GAY. AS. AIDS.

UVM Ski and Snowboard Club is offering a FREE trip to Mt. Snow including day passes when they open! So if you're in the club.... you win!
 
And I'm pretty confident that Killington will be back up and running this weekend as they are blowing like crazy now.
 
i hope the weather gets cool enough soon. i cant wait. my mountain in CT is turning the guns on this friday. so stoked

We are making snow, and lots of it. The guns are on from top to bottom and have been throughout the night. Our snowmakers turned on the first set of guns at the summit as early as 4pm yesterday. I couldn’t believe it. I mean, after all of this warm, humid… and downright depressing weather, we’re finally able to fire up those impressive fanguns. The weather for the rest of the week looks incredible. Go ahead, see for yourself. I’ll wait.

And… we’re back. Now that we’re both on the same page, how ‘bout those temps?? Mmm, nice ‘n cold all week long. We’ll be making snow throughout the week in preparation for some top to bottom skiing on opening day, which by the way, is Saturday, the 22nd. Just keep in mind, variety is the spice of life and Mount Snow likes spicy.

sooooo stoked rite now. been lookin at all the coldness forcasted and its goin to mean alot of snow. what u think they goin to have set up for sat?
 
Word is around 20 features, all new rails and boxes plus some jibs and bonks. There is a mellow down flat down that looks like a lot of fun up on the hill ready to go in.

Gaitor is going to push snow on Thursday and then will have a better idea of which features are going to make the grade.
 
Jumps depend on how much snow there will be to work with and the cats wont start pushing snow around until Thursday.

I also found out that tickets will be mid-week rates this weekend.
 
word. $56 is ridiculous.

tell management that if they dont knock it down to like $35-40, then NS is gunna riot, and we roll about 115000 deep.
 
well i am going...but the 4 kids that were going with me probably wont. 56 dollars for 4 trails. be realistic. i mean it will reduce people. and increase season pass holders. Not a good marketing plan
