yah thats what I thought too, but I called there snow phone, and supposedly they haev 18cm base. But they still cant open with 0.5 ft. So the deal is, there is supposed to be a big ass storm coming in and wednesday, and thursday they are supposed to get 50-60 cm of fresh wet coast snow.then friday, there is supposed to be periods of heavy to moderate snow with freezing levels hovering around 800 metres. So obviously this announced openingdate is completly relying on the good forcast, and if the snow doesnt fall, they wont be opening.

Yea the whole west coast is supposed to get around 2 ft of snow between wendesday and friday. Especially at baker. and the higher mountains.

Yah well all the locals are saying now that they are planning on opening soon, hopefully this weekend. If they do, it'll be the one run rop-tow deal. Oh well, its better than sitting on my computer on a thursday night with nothing to do.
