well i though mt st helens erupting again here pretty soon was bad enough. but i was just watching the news and they said mt hood is also rumbling now. and could possibly also errupt. this could ruim ski season for many including myself..

Well, hold off on the fretting... I saw on the USGS site that what they're picking up on the seismometers at Hood are vibrations from Mt. St. Helens, it's about 50 miles away right? They didn't report any activity coming from near, or below Hood on it's homepage, so, take it easy...

apparently when mount st helen erupted those many years ago, it somehow created a very WARM and rainy winter, now obviously when it erupts now it wont be like back in the 80s', but still sketch

Hood is active and has been for a long time. So far, the worst thing we have had to deal with is. The sporadic sulfer egg fart smell that lingers in the canyons. when the mountain pop's off !

....Don't take No from someone who doesn't have the authority to say Yes....
