Mt. hood?

Anybody gonna make the trek up to hood to ride t-line's public park? My friends and I are thinking about it, we'll probably have to camp out though, no place to stay.
 
i think may of us will be doing the same thing. public park last year was sick, the 'trek' up there is a breeze depending on how lifted you are, and camping is no big deal there are tons of places.
 
be careful relying on public park. I would make a thread in the Oregon regionals before you head up there, because t line will be different this year. HCSC bought out the lane that t line usually builds their public park at. Ask the Oregon locals when the summer season up there begins, which i think is today.
 
yo doug, TC's older brother lives up there, not mt hood but somewhere near so maybe you could talk to him about crashing there but i didnt tell you.
 
yes me and some friends are heading up there, camping out, and hitting the public park. Hopefuly its legit
 
Couple coworkers of mine are all trying to get together a trip up there in the next month (basically whenever we can all find 4 days to a week off to go at it..)

If anyones down, I suggest a carpool trip for sure. (gas is sickening...)
 
Hey guys, I just moved up to Washington. I've been doing the camping thing when I head toward Hood/Bachelor and it's definitely the cheapest option. Things are still kinda rainy right now, so it's not the best Even the locals here don't like to camp in adverse weather, so you can almost always cruise into a pay site w/ no notice. If not you can always poach a shower and head back to your own campsite. Hope to see some familiars up here this summer.
 
Im gonna be at windells from June 26th through July 3rd and then i think im gonna hang around for a couple of days and ski the public park
 
yea HCSC bought the lane where they usually have the public park. The tline crew is just moving to a different lane so no worries
 
yeyaaa, can't wait to head up there june 25th till june 30th and bum it in the parking lot. who's gonna be bummin it with me? and how hard is it to clip tickets up there right now?
 
I'm going to be doing the same thing.. just, i'm planning on a trip after the 4th..

btw.. 500$ for gas is ridonkulous.
 
you need to go! just got back from five days in hood, and it's LEGIT! public park is lookin' good with four jumps, a halfpipe, jibs, and tons of rails and boxes with rollers to finish. plenty of good folks around too... lots of shredders from tahoe. so mucb fun!
 
I'm up at windells and Hood is soooo sick right now. The public park is pretty sick with a quadruple line and lots of fun rails jibs etc. The weather is super hot though, like in the high 80's mid 90's at govy.

Sean, I think I'm heading down there as well. Gimme a shout when you get back from NJ. Skiing just sounds so great right now.
 
I'll be heading down there Friday evening. Doing a Friday + weekend trip. Himay - you still gonna be down there?
 
nah, i just got back yesterday. had myself a great time, but had to come home to get myself some more dolla bills. hopefully i can make one more short trip b4 the summer is up. u'll deff be seeing a lot of familiar face up there though so keep an eye out.
 
let me know when you're going bro. I want to make a trip up there for sure. I'm down to pitch in gas dollas.
 
It was wonderful! Bummer I missed you Jamie. Felt great to make some turns and see a ton of familiar faces. Every other city I go... hahaha. I skied like shit and got worked from being so out of shape - it was totally worth it. Keep an eye out on the FS site for a recap.
