Mt hood

well we lost a bunch of snow due to the recent warm front goin over. under 2 feet mid mountain and only a few inches at the base now. i would say the lifts will definitely not be running this weekend.
 
Palmer is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday, weather permitting. Everything else needs more snow. Check the Timberline website at www.timberlinelodge.com.
 
t-line will be running the lift on palmer on weekends only until there is enough snow to open the lower mountain

Did they ever open the lifts on Friday? Site said it was too windy. I will be going up Saturday morning, doesn't look like it should be as windy.

i doubt im going tmrw, but anyone going on sunday should come film with us, we got a filmer and a vx, and a bunch of energy drinks and food. makes the best day!
 
good times at the gathering last year. too bad timberline screwed us out of lift time.
 
they'll be open tomorrow.. spossed to be nicer... but ya. eff that bad weather.. i want more snow. i dont mind the cold. everyone is all pleased with the "nice" weather.
 
ok, i called into snowphone and they said the rail jam was on brunos? thats good because u can just hike the rails, it will be fun but how much is a pass just for that lift?
 
oh and if ur just hitting the the rails on bruno, a lift ticket is like 21 if ur 15 and over and 14 and under is 18 dollars, good deal to hit up some sick rails
 
k so i just got back and the setup was real cool and all. its just they dont know how to put on a jam. there was far too many ppl and u had to wait 30 minutes to get a hit. it was kinda gay. and we were blessed with sunny blue bird with barely any wind what so ever.
 
yea i was up today and they took it all down, so we went up palmer and just built some stuff and jibbed everything we saw it was suuch a sick day, there getting some snow at the end of the week, im stoked
 
wow hood has had the crapiest pre season ever! biggest tease! we got 2 feet in 1 day, then it all melted in the next 2 days and the weather has been almost totally above freezing ever since then.
 
and how would you have done it differently? its not like it was a contest, it was just a fun get people stoked jam
