Mt. Hood Summer Ski Camps

So i managed to get enough money to go out to camp this year and decided to go to MHSSC. Kinda wanted to know what i should expect by going and what people thought about going there
 
I work there. I might be your coach or counselor. It's pretty chill, people are cool. I think you'll have a good time.
 
It's definitely no Windells, but I enjoy it a ton. This summer is my 3rd year.

All I really have to say is try not to get in trouble for doing something bad, because most people regret it when they realize they screwed up an opportunity to be employed there as a counselor or camper staff.

Also the coaches might call you out for skiing without a helmet, so bring one. (liability I guess?)

how are the people usually there in the earlier sessions and are they looking for new coaches?

Usually like half of the campers are racers, but most of them do their own thing. The park kids are really chill and they won't give you any crap if you're not as good as them. As for the coaches, i'm not sure. You'd have to contact them for that one.

how old are the people there? cause im hoping there will be a few people my age (im 20)

In park, there's normally a few 12 or 13 year olds, and then most people are 15-19. You should be fine.
 
I know someone who will be coaching there he is a snowboarder but his name is rick looks like a goat type but is one of the most fun people to be aroundd
