Mt. hood public park?

I will be up there then...is that good or bad? I'm there to ski, not watch a snowboarding comp. Will there still be a good public park open?
 
Oh shit! I forget you don't get the goods either... 2 for you, one for the other dude! I owe you for that sandwich at the hospital a few years back anyways.
 
if youre there during the ASJ, the park will be closed. If you're there prior, perhaps even up to a week (not sure) the park maybe closed as well.

wheres some dank camping spot? i was at trillium last year. but it's a little distant...

is there anything closer? better? with showers?
 
Will it only be closed during the comp, or days prior? And I thought the comp was all over. HCSC, Windells, and only slopestyle in the Public Park?
 
last year it was opened on the slopestyle practice day, other than that it was closed throughout the comp. the slope course becomes the public park, pipe and quarterpipe are both at HCSC.
 
So do you think the public park will be open up until the 12th (the day of the comp.)? I called to check but was told to call back tomorrow.
 
probably, i know we skied the park the same day practice was going on with all the pro shreds which i imagine was the day before, but im not 100% sure. the order of the events is different this year to so im not sure if thatll change things or not, cause slope was the first thing last year and the course was closed even after it was done.
