Sorry for putting this thread on the big stage but I need some quick advice and the Regional threads are slow this time of year. I'm debating on whether or not to fly out to Spokane, WA thurs apr 21st for a wedding that my gf is standing up in. I have to decide today and the only way I am going to pull the trigger is if a NSer familiar w the Spokane area can offer me some good itinerary related advice. I have already tried to figure this out for myself using google but in the last hour I am still yet to determine if Mt. Hood is in Oregon(Finkle) or Washington(Einhorn). Can someone please tell me which of the 5 Mt Hoods would be my best bet? Or is there another resort closer to Spokane? Thanks fellas...

Thank you for your response, I thought it was only 2 hours each way. No way I can swing the 8 hour round trip drive in one day.

I'm not sure where pasco is but there's baker, crystal, mt. Spokane, 49 degrees north, white pass, snoqualmie, etc

should probably touch up on your geography before spouting off random ski areas with no bearing on where they are.

Pasco is a long drive from anywhere. About 3.5 hours to govy.

Govy??? Yeah if the closest place is 3.5 hours that means I'm leaving my hotel 5:45am, smokin a b on the chair with DoubleU at 10am, skiing till closing, driving 3.5hrs back to the hotel in hopes of having 3.5hrs of QT to spend at The Pasco Saloon. Sounds like a boatload of work for a late season session but I think i'm gonna book it.

from pasco you got:

Scheweitzer, Id 3 hours

Stevens Pass, WA 4.5 hours- Closing Sunday

Snoqualimie Pass, WA 3.5 hours

Timberline, Or is probably 4-5 hours

In lamens term your srewed.

pasco.. aka tri city. you could drive over to white pass thats about 3 hrs... or go down to la grande to ski anthony lakes. 1.5 hrs.

I live 5 minutes from pasco!!!!! The closet mountain is bluewood. Hit me up and I'll tell u were to eat in pasco. A lot of Mexican food
