Mt. Hood Meadows still open

hell yea all the pros are up there too. dumont and sammy were there this weekend. everyone make the trip out, its worth it

No, they announced they would stay open as long as enough people kept coming. And I'm just saying that enough people did come.

the park is sick! casade is the best, vist is good .. the red park is a little small. they have 2 pipes one at red and the other up on cascade.

I just got an e-mail saying they are not going to be open tomorrow, Sat the 20th or Sunday the 21st, due to bad weather.

^ backcountry:

tehre are some dank hip jumps/step ups/step downs you can build up in the Timberline canyons

yea aside from the jump options, there really isnt any backcountry. its all gentle slopes of a volcano (some places are steeper) but many spots are exposed, esepcially to wind. you could clikb and get some sick runs, but its not all that extreme

i think meadows has some good terrain. heather canyon has steep faces and techy tree run, like jacks woods. it also gets a lot of snowfall which calls for many pow days.

If you hit the parks on cascade and vista and you thought it was lame quit skiing. The park was fuckin ill sooo much fun and you can ski in a cutoff like me

Last i checked Meadows was way better than palmer. I don't see how you guys can complain about meadows right now, its soo sick (last time i checked anyways).
