Mt. Hood Meadows Screwed Me!!!!!

So I bought a lift ticket from meadows and i was teaching a friend on the begginner lift. everything worked fine until i went to the quad express lift. I waited in line for 20 minutes and when i got to the front, some guy said my ticket was invalid so he called this fat guy and he told me to take off my skis and follow me into the lodge.

so i follow him in and wait in services for like half hour while they try to find out how I "scammed them". I was gettin pissed so they finally gave me a new ticket. So i was stoked to go ski again. I get in line AND THE NEW TICKET WAS INVALID TOO!!!!! I was pissed

any similar experiences???????

ya it got kinda ugly.

The boss guy was like "this guy is helping you"

and i told him "no hes not he's fucking standing there!" haha
 
On my school ski trip last year we bought 3 day rcr tickets previously and when we got to the lift at fernie they wouldn't work so we had to get all new tickets. the same thing happened at kimberley the next day so we ended up having to stand in line to get new tickets every day.
 
My hill has been cracking down on people without duckets this year. I was lapping this lift and 10 times in a row the same dude asked to see my ticket. Like he didn't remember the only person with bright yellow pants and pink skis. I guess he was just doing his job though. Sucks that Meadows has shitty scanners.
 
Sometimes they just scan so they get the number of people riding the lift.

Back on topic it sucks that you got jewed out of time you should of asked for some cafeteria bucks or something. Cause when you think about it a 1 day pass at most mountains is like 10$ an hour.
 
ya the first time they gave me some free drink tickets and i was thinkin "thanks!, a free coffee is worth 1 hour of my time!"

then the second time they actually gave us a voucher for free night skiing otherwise i would have demanded one anyway.
 
So they were scanning it on the small lift with no problem? But when you went to the express it didn't scan correctly? Or were they not scanning?
 
it seems like those scanners are a dumb idea.....it makes the lines go so much slower...and also have the time they wont even scan the ticket and you can see the people doing the scanning are just like fuck it and let you through
 
bachelors auto scan system is perfect example of what meadows needs to do....Bachelor does everything perfect!! I love that mountain!
 
sun valleys scanners are fast and painless, it shouldn't be hard to make a scanning system that works well, its really a simple concept.
 
I think it is more the employees sucking than the scanners. They just are not efficient and they also have been doing it on all the lifts, not just the ones at the bottom, so the wait caused by them effects even the upper mountain lifts.
 
that sucks dude if they wasted alot of your day with that your should request a complimentary lift ticket for another day to make up for your lost time that you had paid them for
 
thats why you go the getto mountains that dont scan but check a stamped word on yur pass. go mount seymour. reppin the 3 20 yo lifts
 
thats shitty man.. my mtn likes to not cair about anything because all the lift operators smoke a whole bunch of meth befor each day so they dont exactly know where they are
