Mt. Hood Meadows Opens Sat!!

That's right, it is supposed to open this saturday. we got 19 inches in the last 24 hours and expect a possibility of 21 more in the next night. yay.

 
mt hood opening that late? my hill is also opening on saturday and it has 600 ft verticle haha

maybee the base is deep enough, its prolly cause they didnt want to open with it raining, not cause they didn't have enough snow.?. possibly...if anyone wants to offer I ride from Lloyd center...I've got money fo' gas and six pack of Red hooks finest with your name on it//

 
Fuck! i cant go up this saterday, and its gonna rain on sunday. I hope my new HH jacket is really waterproof...

hahah I know seriously. My local hill back home in ohio was open before you guys....Must suck to live in the rainy pacific northwest....

No, Hood is usually 6 weeks into the year by now, but sometimes this happens. Usually it means we have an awesome Jan-May.

And no, I think I speak for a lot of the Hood skiers when I say, we don't sit around wishing we were living in Utah. But we'll think of you this summer when we're still skiing and you're not....
