the tickets are 38 dollars and the public park is fucked!!!! they groom everything but it, and you have to walk to it and from it.... im so pissed i wasted money on it, if your not a racer or in a camp your nothing... you get treated like shit

i mean, nothing is unified in hood. its all in BFE govy camp or windells or what not. u get better dinner for the most part when u go to camps in Whistler cause u get to go to actual restaurants and not caffeteria.

but i digress, ive only skied there in the summer a few days and i didnt really go to any camps...

I think Mt. Hood has its good things and bad things. It is good in that there is snow year round that can be skied on, I think we'd all agree on that but the service there at Timberline for new school skiers is bull shit. If your not a racer they treat you like shit. I was there in June and talked to JF Cusson for a little bit by the ticket booth. He said they wouldn't let him on because he got caught trying to sneak on the lift. WHAT THE FUCK! I don't give a fuck about the rules if JF Cusson wants to get on the lift, you let him on the lift. He has done so much for skiing. That is just an example of why I think the people running Timberline are stupid.

and i know that its still skiing but if i knew that i would get chased out of everywhere i went, i would have though twice about paying so much, i would have rather hiked up the fucking mountain and spent the $38 on booze ! chris do you remember when they pulled tanner and belan out of line because they were in like a racers only line, thats fucked up... they were trying to explain and they called some dick head security guy on them, basiclly im just tired of getting shit from old ass ladies in the ticket windows and from the faggot groomers and racers (not that all racers are gay) just some of them!

sure the tickets are expensive but there are ways. we didn't buy tickets. and stay up after the mountain is closed, epic parks everywhere and everything was groomed every night. a million times better than whistler.

How can you say hood is bullshit? at most mountains you pay for a ticket, do you expect to get in for free? Hood doesnt groom there park every day because they have a huge mountain to maintain, and at most mountains, parks are not first priority. And also, the 'shitty' public park is what most of the pros ride, and a lot of there superkickers are biult there. I see a lot of ppl saying whistler is sick, which it is, but those ppl are campers. i havent heard much about the public terrrain. I have much more to say but laziness has overcome me.

Why doesnt everyone who gives a shit about hoods park write them an email, if 70 people write an email about how interested they are in the public park, stuff with change, i wana do a road trip there next year but we need to get the park a little more attention.

for whoever said the hood public park is good..and that where the pros are.. when was the last time you saw it? one month ago it was incredible..but now there not a pro that would waste there time on it, i was in the park from 7-2 and only saw 20 people in it tops, no pros for sure
