Mt. Hood end of may

I have a two part question, first, What is Mt. Hood like right now? park and such?

Second, How will it be in 2 weeks?

the reason I ask is becaues I am thinking about putting together an expedition up north for a few days to celebrate my release from school. Probably camp outside of govy or something. Let me know what you guys think, especially those of you that are up there.

im actually heading up on thursday till the end of the spring pass (may 26th). should be fun, as was said, ski bowl parking lot is free camping, as is the airstrip which wont have lights (might be a good thing for sleeping, haha). im not sure what there is to do about showers at the moment since trillium lake might be unbearable this early.

a lot of areas (ie airtstrip) are probably still buried. they got a lot of snow this year, but a good bit has melted.

weather is unpredictable in late may, usually leaning on the shittier side of things (albeit this weekend looks unbelievable). as for mountain conditions, some hood rats probably have the info on that.

I had no idea you guys still had so much snow. That is sweet. I don't know how much I want to camp in the snow though. I have gotten used to this 90 degree weather in northern california. Maybe we will bring a suburban and sleep in that if we go.

What are the prices now? and when do they go up?

Ok, so we are probably going to go from friday, the 23rd until tuesday, the 27th, and ride saterday sunday and monday. How much for a day pass?

well i dont ski at hood, but if a late season pass is only 100 bucks id just get that if ur skiing for 3 days, that is unless their day pass is under 33 bucks..

yeah meadows was lame this year but i would go up the snow has been melting fast and its been really hot and it rained today
