I'm from Mn and I'm just wondering if this place is as legit as they say they are. I went to there website and to be honest I was blown away. I didn't know that such a resort existed in the midwest.

So if anybody has been there I would definitely appreciate your comment on this place.

I went there with my brother, he went to Mi tech just a short drive away and i was very impressed. I think there is only like 2 chair lifts but you can ski the whole hill. I went like 2 or 3 yrs ago so I don't know if they added more stuff or what but i can tell you from living in michigan my whole life and having the opportunity to ski most of the hills here and a few in colorado, that this mountain is the closest you are going to find to the mountains out west. It is only like 1000 ft tall or something but is very technical, lots of tree runs and if you catch it in the right day you can have pow days. I would go back again if I had the opportunity

its totally worth it for real "big" mtn skiing in the midwest. Close to 1000 vert, and is basically just a huge cliffband with tons of tree runs. They never groom, so the main runs turn to all bumps quickly in the season. The backside has some of the gnarliest shit on it, and those runs take you to a road, where every 5 minutes a bus comes and picks you up and takes you back to the main lifts.

I went there last winter and those guys pretty much hit it right one the spot. Its def worth checking it out.

yeha looks sick might be going up there this winter with my friend cuz they got a time share up there or something 17hr drive tho

yeah, ive heard its sick as hell if you can get up there on a pow day, but if not then its a waste of money. so, watch the skies...

i ski there like every weekend, that place is the shit as long as it's snowed within a week. It's also best to get there early in the morning, and not at 1 like everyone else does, because there are NO liftlines. They just opened up a few new clffs this year too. Def. worth the trip, and stay in the cabins cuz it's cheap and there is now law there.
