thinking about going to baker next season from NZ. Snow sounds pritty sick but wondering if anyone knows what there park is like?

 
the snow is wet and dont move there if you want to see the sun anytime between october and may. theres no real town just a little hole in the walll spot, park? ummm don't count on much, if you want to ride park go somewhere else kid.

the snow is sick, and there is alot of it. you get your sunny days, but yes, it is overcast alot.

there isnt much of a park until spring, when they push all the jumps big and make all the rails sick... its a lot of fun... make the move

shitload of snow usually, cool mountain, ive never been in the BC, but its world famous so it must kick some ass. I wouldnt live in Baker for the season though, either move to Seattle or just come up to Whistler and meet some real aussies.

well they have the record for most snowfall, the terrains pretty good, steep areas and stuff, you go there to ski though, not to ride park

fuck all of you im looking forward toa killer season on baker next year.... already looking around for houses in glacier for the season, you don't need a park with the BC baker offers just make your own if you that concerned. and listen to zach D and others who have been locals when it comes to talking about the mt not these dumb asses who maybe spent a few days on it.

stevens pass has a better park but baker has the better terrain. pics of steven's 04 park are in my profile. this year there wasn't much.

 
if youre coming all the way from nz to the pnw for sick park you might want to rethink your move, chief.

All I need are some tasty waves, a cool buzz and I'm fine.
 
ya the pnw can be a hit or a miss. sometimes the snow is incredible, then the next day it will rain. plus, sometimes the whole season turns into a crapshoot. it can be good, but if i were to move all the way over here I would recommend somewhere that has more consistent snow conditions. and if you're just coming for the park, stick to the larger resorts.

deff stick to a bigger resort for a better park in the pnw but baker does have amazing terrain and BC

UTAHHHHHHHHHHHHH bitches. you dont want to bbe near the coast. its not called coastal crud for the fun of it. im sure they get their dry days too but most of the snow is gross. but uhh yea the snowpark is the most stable because of the wetness too.

 
^yes and bakers is ill, really wet pow when i went but im sure its not taht wet all the time. bellingham is a chill town like 45 away.

baker is the shit where i learnt to ski

awsome terrain dont listen to these kids listen to the ones that know the mountain and baker does get alot of overcast but the days its sunny with that much pow its Unreal

There is a lot of fucking idiots posting in this thread.

Baker, yeah we get themost snow in the world, so its the shit if you like big mtn riding, but we dont get much sun, and the aprk is only good if it hasnt snowed for a few says wich is rearly, but when it is good it is a very good park. Dont bother moving here if you dont own at least 2 pairs of fat skis, and you are better off leaving your jib sticks at home.
