Mt. Baker in December?

Hey guys, thinking about doing a trip out west this december and Mt. Baker was one of the places I was thinking about going, whats it usually like there in december? Would it be a good time to go?

december is when the NW gets the most snow on average, plus its gonna be a la nina year so you should be set going in december

this. late december=biggest most awesome storms. new years always seems to get raped by snow. only bottomless day ive ever had was new years weekend 3 years ago. you could ski in tons of tracks and feel like it was freshies. winter break for sure

Strong advice indeed, but unfortunately it only rains at Baker in December.

it only rains in the PNW how could u plan a trip out here and not know that?

the goal of this thread was to learn about the PNW and Mt. Baker in general. If i already knew everything about it then why would i make a thread?

Any place is better then baker in december i mean if you want to do some gift shopping after skiing your out of luck.
