We only had to go back to middle basin last weekend, so beehive had to be good at that point. Not sure now. But we saw people biking when we were there...it was kinda funny.

CLOSE TO 4 FT OF SETTLED SNOWPACK ON TOP OH SHOWDOWN

Snow Overnight: 16 inches

Snow Last 24 Hours: 28 inches

Snow Since Sunday: 40 inches

Snow Surface: Good skiing on top - Upper Quick and Speculation!

Snowpack Base: 29 inches

Snowpack Summit: 46 inches

jeaaa. i heard around 2 in the bridgers, and about a foot and a half by Big Sky according to the avalanche dudes.

Upper Beehive, went again yesterday but there was so much snow it was more hassle than fun. There was a solid 24"+ at that first meadow thats even before you enter public land. I'm thinking about hitting the Bridgers tomorrow morning, figure there will at least be a trail blazed there.

Here's one from Monday up at Beehive.

If you do it should be sweet, snotel data on the east side at brackett read 23" of new from 10/28 to 10/29. If the east got nuked than the west should be whiteroom.

Nice Pic! Bastard

You sure about that? I'm looking at the Brackett Creek snotel data right now and it's saying there is 10" total. The station at the top of the Bridger lift was saying 23" of new, so maybe that's what you meant? Also, the east side of the range gets significantly more snow than the west side, almost without exception.
That being said, I saw some pictures on TGR from Bridger yesterday that weren't looking too shabby.

Yeah, my bad I have them all running as a ticker on my screen. And yes I meant that the west side gets the shaft generally.

You seem like the TGR type.

This winter is starting out great, Showdown's total snowfall is already 95 inches, their seasonal average is usual 20 ft or 240 inches, thats more than a third of their annual snowfall and its only October. Thats almost 8 feet of snow, they have a 4' base now and have been track packing the lower angle stuff and i hear its skiing great, Im going tomorrow to find out for my self. Stoked!! Oh and I heard that Great Divide might be opening Good Luck lift next weekend for Wild Wood.

The snow was deep, and wet today, the temperature in Neihart was around 55 degrees and 65 in Great Falls. Regardless we got an early enough start that the skiing was good, phenomenal for October.

The snow was deep, this snow bank usually doesn't get that big until January/February.

Holy crap, I just woke up and hadn't looked outside yet, but damn, there is a lot of snow outside. Definitely between 12 and 14.

Agreed...I woke up to take a shower and didn't look and when I came back I was like "what the fuck where did this foot of snow come from" Very pleasant surprise.
