MT 09/10 HYPE!

Drove over Rogers Pass this evening, blizzard conditions from Lincoln to Simms and about 5-6 inches of snow on the road on top. About 6 stuck semis, looked like winter. STOKE!!

we brought a few truckloads of snow down from hilight today and seshed he back yard with the drop in we built at 3 in the morning lastnight!

eh. id say barely an inch. todays the first reaaal substantial snow, since most of it was gone by the end of the day last week.

plus i just wanna claim that i called the exact day hahahaha

Fuck ya for deep snow but I bet anything we have a few more weeks of warm weather and this will all be depth hoar.

I'm not too worried about the Tobacco Roots since I never ski there, but I am not a big fan of rotten base layers regardless. Skinning around the West Yellowstone area last Christmas was literally like being in a thunderstorm, with 40" of new snow collapsing for a half mile in every direction as I moved along. We shall see...early season snow sucks ass for those of us that will be spending the majority of our time in the backcountry.

anyone know how much there is up at bridger? im probably not gonna have time till this weekend, but id love to drive up there and set up a rail or somethin.

I'm actually not 100% sure exactly where Virginia City is, but I think that would be right. They are directly west of Ennis and McAllister; it's the range you see way off in the distance looking west from Bozeman.

Tobacco Roots are right outside that little bad ass town Pony. There's a lot back there I just don't know the area or have a snowmobile Last couple days have been fun jibbin around town. We just keep running out of places to jib around Bozeman. You got to get really creative, it's tough. Helena and Butte have some dope rails when they get some snow.

i guess a bunch of ppl were up there on yesterday and sunday.. i have not a clue how much snow, but apparently it was enough for them to set up some rails! but i deff wanna go up there this weekend!

I just had 3.... yes THREE bozeman city patrol cars show up in full force to shut down my "jibbing operation" it was fucking 10:15 and it was my roomate alex, ryan (mtsteez03) and myself. just the 3 of us, slaying my backyard setup listening to a little mylie cyrus/biggie ... can't believe they sent in 3 patrol cars. i laughed.

CLAIM

city patrol cars=police cars?
How can they even break up a backyard session? That's weird.

haha yah sorry, police cars. i guess the neighb's called me in... now if i could only figure out which ones did it... they came on a 'noise complaint' ... but 3 cop cars for a noise complaint? come onnnnn

Alex has the sickest backyard rail i've ever hit set up at his house right now.. almost as fun as the metal ones he has back at home.. just thought i'd throw that out there.

I saw some pics on facebook of a friend skiing bridger. Anyone know what the conditions are like? Wonder if it would be worth making a trip down there this weekend..

skied the past three days.. been soo much fun!! yay. snow makes the shitty season of fall (although its beautiful, just not much to do) amazing!!!!!

my apologies for the shitty video, my buddys camera wont import onto anything. stupid mini dvd cameras...

^lookin good. Up at Bridger right?
I was up there today as well, took a couple pictures:
This is looking down from almost the top of the Apron. I couldn't really ski the fresh since there were too many rocks. Over to the right about 200 feet there were fewer rocks.

Looking down from the top of PK. Not quite enough snow to actually ski down this one.
