MSS making snow!

It is your lucky day, it says they are opening tomorrow on the website. Let me know if they have any rails setup

Fuck yeah

they said it a couple times that they will set up 2 features for friday... pretty sure they will. also they'll try to make enough snow to open 2 trails for this weekend!

I still dont get why they dont do a small hikeable jib area during preseason. I'm not talking about two small old broken rails, I mean something where you can have real fun, like you see on most of the west coast/american opening day.

With Zack Aller getting more involved in Mss crew (I think), we can expect some great refreshing things for the winter.

They did this a long time ago in the Babaloo at Avila, it was great. Never did it again though... Excited for what Aller & co. come up with though!

I got Friday off to go check it out, but don't think I will unless they got a couple features up.

To be honest I'm hoping they set them up close to the bottom of the trail. That way I won't have to pay for a lift ticket and just hike to them. If there are no jibs I really doubt I'm going to want to pay $30 for one trail.

I doubt they'll do that but yeah it'd be sick even if I have my pass there. it'd be closer from the lodges haha

and I'll prolly wait for some updates on fb saying that the rails are settled before driving up to mss

Went yesterday, no rails obviously. Some kids shaped a small kicker like they do every year but the stupid patrol lady came and stood in front until everyone said fuck it and skied away. Same scenario later, kids brought up a wooden rail and patrols took it down... Sigh

I wish they'd put features at the bottom of 70 like they used to.. But sauveur doesn't want to be associated with "our kind" anymore, that's why they shipped us off to Avila (not that I'm complaining).

Not so sure what I'm looking at here. Is it 1 street style flat rail? Can't tell so much from the picture. Also thanks for the update.

Ahh the classic broken box. Much appreciated. Probably going to head up tomorrow morning. Its about that time to get some of that frozen H2O under my skis.
