MSPs vs. Pipe Cleaners vs. 06/07 Tanner Halls

My boss's son asked me my opinion on what to get and seeing as I've only ridden the T-Halls I was wondering what other people would choose and why. I'm pretty sure he rides mostly park and pipe, at Bristol Mtn. in Rochester, which isn't exactly powder central or big mountain. I'd appreciate any input.
 
don't really know anything else, just imagine the average 10th or 11th grade kid. I told him I'd lean away from pipecleaners if hes doing a bunch of rails. Between T-Halls and MSPs what do you think?
