its because you simply watch films for there Ski Porn factor, you only want to see shots you like. which some movies with this idea are great, but thats not what push was about.
If you look at the overall movie, and actually take 30 seconds to think why the movie is named Push, maybe you would realize it is a very good film.
But i'll explain it for you. The hospital segment in the beggining was showing how hard all the athletes were working. Hence the name PUSH. All the athlete's were pushing the limits causing more injuries from how hard skiers are working to improve our sport and progress it.
Each and every segment show's this as well, it shows how serious skiers take it, how much fun they have just doing corky backflips, and what the best part about each of their skiing was. So ideally it was a great movie, it had a subject, great skiers, excellent cinematography, one of the best intro's EVER!(Cinematic time lapses, and life style shots to Requiem Dream), great editing, and great direction. If you guys watched ski movies beyond the gangsta rap, park shots, and the pot smoking you may actually see the underlying plot.
I know this doesnt apply to everyone, just the decent amount of those who are too dense to realize what they're watching.
