I am moving to Utah next week and I have a pass at Park City. I will be skiing park 75% of the time and pow 25%. I am 6 ft 150 lbs. I am thinking about going with the 187 MSP's mounted on true center... I haven't ever really learned to ski powder, im from michigan so I really have no clue about true center in pow? Opinions please!

my friend is 5'6ish and rides a 187 for park lol, he also broke them in less then a season...and since hes a racer hes not like amazing at park or skis the park very often

The MSP's are super dope skis, I had the 04/05 180's. They are dope in pow, and in park. I dont think you'll be dissapointed.

i've got the 180 supermodels for my all mtn/park ski. they rock. i've got them mounted at the center line on the ski. i wouldn't go any farther up than that. and with your weight, i'd go with the 180 rather than the 187 for park/all mtn. they're fun for pow, all mtn, and park. you won't be disappointed. they don't break either. super strong.

yeah and if you don't know how to ski pow, definitely don't mount your skis true center. even if you did know how to ski pow, that would be a dumb idea. go an inch back from true center. they'll ski alright in pow with minimal dive, and they'll still be good in park.

From what I've heard, center mounting sucks for powder/big mountain. I would guess that the longer tail is going to want to make the tips dive, which is bad news in the pow. Enjoy Utah!
