i looked at getting some 4frnt MSP's last season, but was put off by the sidecut radius. some guy in a shop said that they had so little sidecut that they were like skiing an old straight ski. i figured that would suck so i didn't get them. i'm only going to be able to buy one pair of skis this year so i want a twin that i can still carve on. for those of you who have skiied the MSP's, is turning on them really that hard?

 
uhm...go back to that shop and punch that dumb shit in the throat. and then drag his choking ass outside, open his mouth and place it over the curb and then promptly stomp the back of his head with your ski boot. next, tell him what a fucking idiot stereotypical shopworker bitch he is and then piss in his wounds.

DO NOT LISTEN TO SHOP WORKERS UNLESS YOU KNOW FOR A FACT WHO THEY ARE AND ARE CONSCIOUS OF THEIR KNOWLEDGE!

if you didnt get the point, there is plenty of side cut to the msp...sure its not a fucking groomer ski ITS A GODDAM FAT SKI BITCH! plus, you should probably take the two seconds to find a carrier online and look at the dimensions for yourself.

i have looked at the dimensions, but there's a big difference between looking at a set of numbers on a website and feeling the ski underneath your feet.

 
They are really badass. The will turn as fast and sharp as you want. Remember, its not the ski that skis the skier but the skier that skis the ski. I ride 4frnt and they are fucking sick. No complaints what so ever.

how does the msp handle the park? and is it hard to ride on the groomers?

i love the msp in the park. the surface area makes everythign a lot more stable (ie stomping the shit out of shit and shit). and with the fat waist they are very stable on rails. they are fine on groomers as well, the only place they get sketch is on solid ice...but that is any fat ski, because they are not made for that.

Kunz, are you biased here at all? haha. but he is right, of course it isn't a women's carving ski! Some people say the same thing about skis like the ar5, etc, but if you know how to ski, they carve like a wood chair maker

The 4frnts handle good on groomed snow, they carve like GS skis. They are an all mountain ski, not a short ass pair of slolom skis so dont expect them to carve like one. 4Frnts will do anything you want them to do.

PS

You can carve any ski, even one with minimal side cut. It isnt like carving was invented when they came out with shaped skis.

turning on them is like massaging hot oil onto the bodies of three virgin asian women at the same time. they arc a turn so well.....true they don't whip tiny-radius turns quite as fast as a true slalom ski, but anything from a GS turn to a single powder-C down a 2000' face is like eating triple layer fudge cake
