Sammy and Dumont should have sick segments. Hjorleifson, Abma and Rory will be killing it as well. The trailer looks sick. All the haters will hate even if it is the greatest trailer they have seen. Lets hear it boyz.
 
did anyone else cream their pants on the one shot of eric pollard doing a butter off a small lip in the pow and then he just landed and kept skiing like it was nothing? soooooo smoooth, thats the kinda stuff i like to see. snowboarders can do that with relative ease, but for a skier to do it so damn smoothly its impressive
 
Yeah that also really gets me going. EVERY YEAR they put out one of my all time favorite movies to watch.........before a day where you wont be hitting rails. I think the athletes are sick! I think the kickers are sick!! I think the pow shots and big mountain is sick! but where the fuck are the rails??? come on MSP rails are one of the biggest most important part of the sport and the proggresion of it. Now use them!
 
i can't believe nobody has mentioned bushfield's stomped fakie double back with the patented fly by heli shot at sunset. amazing.
 
did not need that extra voice over at the end. did love the skiing though, Abma's 180 when it showed his name and Eric H.'s 7 of that wind lip was so sweet, always happy to see Eric Pollard to. those three are so good at puting big mnt and park skiing to geather, and rory's switch duble back was sweet to.

not as good as [photo]play though.
 
The shot of Rory sticking that double switch back was unreal. The other heli shot of him doing the 1080 to perfect pow landing was crazy. That must have been the first attempt of the jump because there are no other tracks in the landing. Fucking smooth!!!
 
Quality and footage = Rad

MSP and their overall movies = Not Rad

It's the same thing, or at least the trailer and it's vibe...

Pollar's nose butter 180 jazz was hot. He's the shit. Believe it.

Other than that...mehhhh.

I love their filming but the overload of big mountain bores me to death and they have the worst editing and music choice of any ski movie production, in my opinion.
 
first off, it looks good, the pipe shots were ill, pollard was pollard, and any movie with sammy and dumont will be good, but fuckin seriously, who wants to see sarah burke ski BC lines? and MSP, FIND A NEW FUCKIN JUMP, youve had sunset shoots at whis on that same fuckin jump FOR LIKE 5 YEARS. it looks good, but im not gonna buy it.
 
just cause in live in alaska doesn't mean I should love big mountain. Yeah its cool and all and I give huge respect to the skiers who do it but I think its the most intensly boring thing to watch unless theres Seth throwing backs off huge stuff or some tricks being done. Im a jibber, that stuff doesn't interest me.
 
so yea, whatever... too much big mtn, same shots, same people, no originality... all true, it doesnt matter, that switch dub back by rory was fucking insane...
