Where do u think?

I ski 40% park and 60% pow and cliffs.

There the 180's if it does matter...

mine are 1 cm forward of the "freeride" position. just fine for all around. they nose dive every once in a while in real deep snow, but it's an even trade off. if you weren't taking them in the park at all you'd probably want them a cm or two BACK from the freeride position. sounds like you ride about the same terrain as i do, and the MSP's are the only ski i own, and will be so until they break.

I just recieved a pair of the 180 MSP's as well...does anyone with real experience with these skis in the powder and crud have any mounting advice? These are not a park ski for me....should I go 1cm Back from freeride line? That would put them in the same place proportionatly (sP?) to the Dynastar trouble makers...any help woul dbe great...thanks

I'd say if you are off piste at least 60% of the time, definitely mount on the freeride line, if not 1 - 2 cm back of it.

hmm...has anyone mounted these 1-2 cm back from freeride and then riden them? How are they and if you had to do it again would you mount them differently???

The reason I said 1 - 2 back is because I had a pair of 187s last year for a little while mounted on the Freeride line and they felt like they had too much tail, so I wish they would have been 1 - 2 back and would have felt perfecct. However, you might be fine on the FR line with a 180 as it is shorter.

Isn't there another line on the MSP's for mounting, which one is that and where is it in realtion to center or how far forward is it?

I mounted mine 2 cm back from the freeride line and they're great for pow and crud. I had them at freeride but didn't really like it, so I recommend 2 cm back.

I just mounted my freinds 180 super models at freeride cuz I figured with the stiffass tip he'd want to be a little closer to it.

Ok here it is, I love my 182 bc's mounted at standard which is 7cm back from center. The bc's have a modern mount which is 5cm back from center. The bc's are my all mountain-pow ski. Heres where im going with this. I love my 187 MSP's! I have them mounted at freeride which is 4cm back from center. These are my park skis. I plan on moving them up 2cm so I have that little extra for tail grabs, which puts them at 2cm from center. If you want your MSP's to be all mountain-pow, I would suggest you mount them 2-3cm from freeride which puts the mounting point at somewhat of a industry standard. Thank you and have a good day!

I have mine a cunt hair behind true center and I ski them EVERYWHERE and they completely dominate. Granted, if you're looking to rip more than jib, I'd get them mounted further back, but if you're looking for versatility, close to center still works, at least for me.

im ripping about 30% park

after you guys all riding them for most o fthe season now...what would you recommed now?

suggest you mount them either at or back from the freeride line, no further forward than that. i mistakenly mounted mine at centre and i reckon there's way too much tail for even groomer skiing let alone powder.

Well as told 3 cm behind center, park and rails; superb.

Pow; Great a little harsh turning when it flattens up and in tight small trees (they're a fucking pain in the ass)but at steep&deep stuff they're great.

So that's my recommendation.

How did you end up liking these skis? I can get a pair of the 187s pretty cheap, but I'm a little worried about 4FRNT construction?
