MSP binding advice

Im going to be purchasing the 180 msp's when they come out (thanks to advice from many of you, mainly strode), but im going to get the bindings for them now while they are cheap. Should I go with look p12 jib or the p12 lifter? the only difference is the plastic lifter thing right? i wouldnt think that it would make a big difference.

i'll be skiing them all over the mountain and im about 175lbs if that makes a difference.

ok so i did a search on here AFTER i did a post. i was a retard as a kid and i thought i grew out of it, i guess not. my questions have been answered. im going with the p12 jib because its actually cheaper than the p12 lifter in most places i look, sounds like its more suited for my needs and it looks better.

you should buy the 187's when they come out and i'll trade you my 180's. haha just kidding. but seriously, i'd get the jibs, because they're lighter i believe. don't forget your wide brakes either.

all depends on what you plan on using them for...mostly park, go with the jib, more all/big mountain, get lifted.

yeh i have the lifter too and wish i'd gone with the jib also.

my level of radness... it just can't... be quantified.

i wonder what next year's line binding will be like

jeepers creepers, whered u get the neat sneakers?

You don't need a lift when you have a ski over 90mm in the waist.

With that wide of a platform, you're already getting the leverage you'd get with a lifter.

Lifter would just be extra weight.

We will have some 4FRNT bindings this

summer being tested so whatever brand you want to buy until ours are ready

is totally up to you. I do know that the salomon's hold up a little better

and have a wider screw pattern so if you plan on stomping switch a lot, the

rossi/look design is a very tight and under foot hole pattern leading to a

bent binding and possibly a heel screw pullout problem. Happened to me.

Skiing is never a sport, but a lifestyle.

Some people question 'why' and wonder 'how'. They just can't seem to grasp 'how' or 'why' we do what we do. Others don't understand, they just continue to wonder. The truth of the mater is that we can't explain it either. All we can say is 'snow so deep you sink up to your hips', 'hits so big you can't see the landing', 'rails with all kinds of bends and kinks', 'natural cliffs and tree runs that you can't explain with any other word than sick' and still they don't understand what we do. On a board or skiis, it is the same. A feeling of freedom and expression in a way so uncommon. But still, they don't understand....

dude salomon bindings blow ass. they pre release way too much. the breaks break, ur ski turns into a bomb, hurts someone and u have a lawsuit on ur hands for having defective equiptment. pivots are alot safer and better, if the binding pulls out of a ski its because the ski has a bad core, or they were installed wrong. not because the holes are too close.

and whoever said u dont need lifters over 90 waist is lying too, u dont need lifter on a park ski, but if u have a ski outside the park there is no reason to not have a lifter.

there's a reason its called snowboarding......it's snowing!!!

now the only thing to make my life complete is to turn ur face into a toilet seat.....im gonna piss on it.

Some people love the salmon bindings. I personally don't like them, I would the p12 jib with risers. That is my personal opinon and choice. Knee saver technology......
