MSnow or turf

I am planning on building a smaller sized dry slope like maybe 4-5ft because I have a small backyard and 6ft is just too big. I want to know which material I use for the drop in to maximise speed. I know fake turf is what most people use but I have seen some people use mSnow or even fencing, is there a difference in what gives more speed?

I have msnow and it works amazing and gives tons of speed when your skis and the msnow is waxed properly. In addition, before we got msnow we tried turf and sideways pvc pipes, but neither were fast enough. Even with water and soap we couldn’t get hardly any speed. If you have the money just save yourself time and money and go straight for the msnow. If you want some but still want to keep prices low you can try laying it in strips instead of a solid floor of it. Also, you could try getting cheap knock off msnow off aliexpress, might be worth a shot.

I had a 5ft tall setup with turf and it worked but speed was always a pain. You need to water it with soap every 5 runs or so and then everything gets wet and muddy pretty quick. With msnow it should be faster and you stay dry, although I’ve never used it myself. With your short drop in height, go msnow if you can. The shipping costs are rough though.

Msnow can be spaced out into strips if you leave space between rows in the inrun. If you leave 5 inches of space perpendicular to your direction you get a lot mor out of it.
